Q: What types of jobs are available at Viacom?
A: Viacom offers a wide variety of opportunities spanning all areas of our business, including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications, Administrative, and more.

Q: How do I apply for a job at Viacom?
A: Search our current job openings by clicking the "Careers" tab above. When you find a position that matches your unique skills and experience, click the "Apply for this Position" button. Follow the instructions to fill out the online form and upload your resume together with all relevant documents.

Q: When will I hear back about my application?
A: Due to the large number of applications we receive, we cannot respond to everyone who applies. Human Resources
will contact you if you are being considered for a position.

Q: How do I apply for an internship at Viacom?
A: Viacom internships offer qualified full-time college students and recent graduates with the opportunity to put their know-how to use and get practical real-world experience at a leading global entertainment content company. Click on the "Internships" tab in the navigation bar above for more details and information on how to apply for an internship.

Q: How long do internships last?
A: In order to give students a full overview and to integrate them as a full member, we are offering internships with a minimum of 6 months.

Q: Does Viacom offer scholar internships?
A: We are sorry but we do not offer scholar internships, because we want to spend a long, intensive time with our interns and give them practical real-world experience. Therefore, we need a minimum of 6 months.

Q: How do I apply as a VJ?
A: We do not offer VJ positions at the moment. If we start hiring again, we will announce the VJ casting at our website. Please note that we can´t take initiative application into consideration.

Q: Does Viacom offer dual training or education?
A: Viacom does not offer dual training or education.

Q: Are you looking for freelancers?
A: We are always interested in talented, creative freelancers. At the moment, our talent pool is full with high motivated freelancers. If we start hiring again, you will find an appropriate vacancy on our website.

Q: I'm having trouble using the site or applying to jobs, what should I do?
A: If you've forgotten your password, you can request it under the 'returning applicants' section on the careers tab. Only a single profile that is attached to a unique email address is necessary to apply to multiple positions. Please be sure to complete all required fields marked with an asterisk (*) before submitting your application and note the acceptable resume formats (DOC, DOCX, RTF, PDF, TXT, HTML).

Q: I'm having trouble updating my resume attachment, what shall I do?
A: When you try to replace the file, you need to press ”submit” before you will see that the new document was attached. Please try to upload your file, then press the “submit”-button at the bottom of the application page. Please have a look at your application again. The updated resume should now appear.
